A refugee who was homeless when he first came to the UK handed his own shoes to a man he saw rough sleeping. Rebwar Sharazure now runs a bakery, has a family and ‘everything he needs’ in life now. But he still remembers a time when he struggled, and made a promise to himself to help others in a similar situation. When he saw a man without any shoes as he drove past in his car in Leeds around 11pm on Boxing Day, he stopped.
